What is Arena Tournament
The Arena Tournament is based on the Arena System found in the World of Warcraft game. The difference is this time we will be giving you all the necessary armors,weapons,enchants,gems,glyph,potions,food and even mounts. All you have to do is gather a team of minimum 3 players and register your team. The tournament will put player’s combat skills to the test as they will be pitted with enemy with equal equipments and buff.

Where is the tournament held
The tournament will be held in the Arena Tournament realm. It is a separate realm from the live realm, whatever you gain or lose in that realm will not affect your characters in the live realm. All the current players of OMGZone server are free to enter the realm once its up and play there as they like, but during the tournament only players who have registered under a team will be able to enter the realm.

When is the tournament
The tournament will start at 2.00pm(GMT +8) every Saturday and Sunday of March. The rest of the day the realm will be open for public use.

How is the tournament going to be played
The actual format of the tournament will be decided after we have closed the team registration. The basic format of the Arena Tournament is done in best of five, meaning each time you fight an opponent there will be 5 games, the first team to reach 3 wins, will be called the winner of that set.

What items are provided for the tournament
There are a lot of vendors we have prepared to cater to all your needs. All items below iLvl 239 will be available in the vendors. This will include Furious Gladiator sets, loots from Naxxramas Normal and Heroic mode and also Ulduar Normal and Heroic mode. Besides equipments, there will also be a vendor for enchantment scrolls, crafted gems, glyph, potions and food buffs. Note though, all profession will be disabled for all characters in the Arena Tournament realm.

What are the prizes for winners of the tournament
First Place – Furious Gladiator title, Furious Gladiator Frostwyrm, 5/5 Piece Furious Gladiator Armor
Second & Third Place – 5/5 Piece Furious Gladiator Armor

When will the tournament realm be opened
We will try to open the realm ASAP, latest by 1st of March.

How many members are allowed per team
Each team can have a maximum of 6 players. Only 3 of these players may participate in fights, the other 3 will be considered as benched players in-case the main player can not make it during the tournament. A player can be a main member of a team and a benched player of another team only. Only the main players will be given the prizes, benched players are not included in the prize.

Can I change my class during the tournament
Yes you can, each players account will be given 3 characters slot, you can change to any character you like but this must be done before each match. You are not allowed to change your character half-way through the match.

I bring great news to you all that OMGzone will now open Guild Transfer Server 2 Server, any guildmaster who wish to bring their whole clan here can fill up our special form for these. Currently this transfer is for both Hordes and Alliance, in our Alliance we greatly appreciate those of PvE oriented guild to transfer here, while in our Horde we greatly in-need of PvP oriented guild, versatile both PvE and PvP are of course welcome to our OMG ranks!

Here are the few Terms & Condition of these transferred applied;
*the T&C are subject to change at any time*

1. Both faction are open for transfer.
2. There is 3 type of guild orientated that can be transferred to our server; such as PvP guild, PvE guild or both PvP & PvE guild are legitimate to transferred here.
3. PvP based guild are offered to transferred to Horde while PvE based guild are offered to transfered to Alliance. Both oriented guild are able to choose faction they deem like.
4. Minimum players within guild (which must be a Main, no ALTs) is 10 players, maximum is 25 players in a guild.
5. If your members has Item set T8 and above, they will be given T7.5 instead.
6. If your member has Ulduar items and item level above 219, it will be downgrade. Down-gradable items are your own choice, we do not pick it for you.
7. Guilds will be given a free gold of 200k guild gold, which will be put into your guild bank.
8. Max profession is two and will be given full without recipes.
9. S6 is allowed to be transferred, while S7 and above will be downgraded to S6.

The purpose is to let everyone go of their seemingly massive WoW Addiction and to go spend time with their families, friends, and loved ones at this time of the year. We will be doing the same so there may be lack of support on the forums for these few days.

We now take this opportunity to thank everyone for being with us this year and let’s look forward to brighter days and *possibly* 3.2/3.3 in the coming months. We’ve had our share of ups and downs this year and it will surely never be smooth sailing in these waters but we try our best.

Let’s keep the community tight, keep it happy and most importantly, keep it healthy. Remember, WoW is a game. Not a way of life.
